Beach Therapy

"The ocean stirs the heart, inspires the imagination and brings eternal joy to the soul."

-Robert Wyland

Do you enjoy the sound of rolling waves and the warmth of the sun?

Many people find that a traditional office setting can feel restrictive, especially when emotions are intense or words are difficult to express. Meeting at the beach creates a different kind of space, one filled with open skies, the sound of waves, and the steady rhythm of the ocean. Whether we’re walking along the shoreline or sitting in the sand, the soothing natural environment can make it easier to relax, reflect, and speak freely. The movement of the water, the feeling of sand beneath your feet, and the fresh ocean air all work together to calm the nervous system, ease anxiety, and bring clarity of mind. In this setting, therapy becomes not just a conversation, but an experience of grounding, renewal, and connection.

There are lots of great beaches along the coast of Orange County! Some good beaches and trails overlooking beaches include: Laguna Beach Main Beach, Heisler Park in Laguna Beach, Newport Beach near the boardwalk, Crystal Cove State Beach, and Dana Point. I can offer recommendations based off of what has worked well for me and other clients and I am open to your input on a particular beach or section of a beach you would like to meet at for our sessions.
